BES Continues to Introduce Innovative Solutions to Help Safeguard Patients and Avoid Cancellations across the NHS

BES Decon understands the importance of patient safety and realises the NHS is currently stretched. With this in mind, BES continues to bring innovative products into the UK to support hospital departments by optimising efficiencies, avoiding cancelled operations and Never Events, and saving costs. BES’ most recent addition is the MedZense LG20-e Endoscope Light Transmission Tester from Zign Medical.

The MedZense LG20-e allows hospitals to accurately, and objectively, measure the light transmission quality of endoscope light cables and rigid scopes. This in-hospital tester helps safeguard patients before a procedure, while avoiding cancellations caused by faulty equipment. The device is already proving to be popular in the UK market.

BES Chairman, Barend ter Haar, and Zign Medical Commercial Director, Erik Bockweg, signed a distribution agreement in September, formalising an already prosperous relationship.

Zign Medical is an innovative product development company focused on supplying high quality solutions for the medical industry. Zign is committed to supporting technical and sterilisation departments in hospitals with testing and materials management solutions.
